The week of Tuesday, April 23, to Friday, April 26, is ShareLife week at BT!! The BT ShareLife committee has organized activities, for the week, in an effort to raise money for this Catholic charity. ShareLife provides funding for many social services. By supporting ShareLife, we bring the hands of Christ to those in need, both locally and around the world. The following is BT’s ShareLife schedule:
The week of Tuesday, April 23, to Friday, April 26, is a BT ShareLife Civvies Day Week!! Students may come to school, in their civvies day attire all week!! Each day, during BT’s ShareLife Civvies Day Week, students are encouraged, if possible, to add the colour green to their attire (i.e. green socks, green hat). Green is the colour of the ShareLife Organization. To participate in BT’s ShareLife Civvies Day Week, students make a donation of a loonie per day, which equals $4.00 for the week. If students do not wish to participate in our BT Share Life Civvies Day Week, students come to school wearing their BT Dress Code attire.
Raffle Tickets. During the week of Tuesday, April 23, to Friday, April 26, classroom teachers will sell Raffle Tickets. Each class, Kindergarten to Grade 8, will hold a raffle and one student will win a prize. The draw will take place, in the classroom, on Friday, April 26, and the winners will be announced over the P.A. system. Raffle tickets will be sold all week, five raffle tickets for $5.00. The prizes are: a $15.00 gift card to Chuck E. Cheese for JK-Grade 2 classes; and a $15.00 gift card to Dave and Buster’s for Grades 3-8 classes.
Share Life Bracelets will be sold all week, by classroom teachers. The bracelets sell for a loonie each.
Families may wish to send $10.00 at once to cover all above ShareLife activities ($5.00 for 5 raffle tickets, $4.00 for all week Civvies Day and $1.00 for Green ShareLife Bracelet). Participation in any or all of the above activities is completely voluntary. In addition, our BT staff, will participate in a variety of activities, throughout the week, supporting our school ShareLife Campaign.
