- Mariam Patasan: I currently work as a professor at Georgian College in the Liberal Arts program. Through this position I have had the privilege of merging two loves, academia and experiential learning. On a monthly basis, I also mentor thesis students preparing their research at Athabasca University. I’m an avid reader, puzzle lover (both crossword and jigsaw), and sporadic runner. I have two kids (5 and 2) who keep me humble and on my toes, and it is primarily for them that I want to get involved in school events. I was on CSC last year and greatly enjoyed participating in functions, helping the school, and meeting members of the community, and would love the opportunity to contribute again this year.
- Sarah Lopes: Committed to making the school environment as welcoming as possible for our kids. Firmly believe that ensuring each child has what they need to succeed and that they all feel heard.
- Marlene Verissimo: Marlene is a Digital Marketing professional with over 15 years of experience managing marketing for various consumer brands (Cuisinart / Zwilling J.A. Henckels / Crock-Pot / Foodsaver / Sunbeam / Oster / Reliance). Her experience ranges from traditional & grassroots marketing to public / media relations, content development and website management including launching ecommerce for billion-dollar brands. As a former CSC member at BT she spearheaded the chocolate fundraiser in 2024 raising over $16K for the school. She also played a role in supporting other CSC initiatives from hot lunch to community events.

- Angela Robibero: Proud mom of 3 who would love to continue to serve on Council.
- Melissa Bianco: I wish to join Parent Council again this year. I enjoy being a part of this wonderful and hardworking group as I have for the last three years. I enjoy being a part of and assisting with various committees and helping with events to help enrich the day to day for the students and teachers.
- Karmen Calderon: I’m a mom of six children within the YCDSB, with one currently at Blessed Trinity. I’ve previously served on school council and have helped organize fundraisers, school events, and community initiatives. With a background in marketing and event planning, I enjoy bringing people together and contributing to the school community.
- Jamie Palmieri: Jamie Palmieri has been passionate about education for the last two decades, serving in various roles at both elementary and university schools and organizations within Canada and internationally. As the former Vice President of Student Affairs for the Trent Graduate Students’ Association, Ms. Palmieri has demonstrated experience working alongside school administration to advance students’ unified interests for positive outcomes. She brings a broad range of educational experience to the service of the faithful families of Blessed Trinity CES and the YCDSB Catholic School Council. Valuing high parental engagement and inclusivity, Ms. Palmieri would be honoured to serve as a liaison between parents and the school community.
- Rosanna Canestraro: Thirteen years on the Catholic School Council both Rosanna and Ginger enjoy participating and helping. Their dedication, support, kindness and compassion have been inspiring. Rosanna has been Vice Chair and Co Chair for 4 years. She is caring, compassionate and a great leader. Ginger has been Co Chair for 2 years and prior to that Treasurer for 5 years. She is kind, helpful and dependable.
- Ginger Peacock: Thirteen years on the Catholic School Council both Rosanna and Ginger enjoy participating and helping. Their dedication, support, kindness and compassion have been inspiring. Rosanna has been Vice Chair and Co Chair for 4 years. She is caring, compassionate and a great leader. Ginger has been Co Chair for 2 years and prior to that Treasurer for 5 years. She is kind, helpful and dependable.
- Tony Rotondi: Proud parent of two healthy boys that attend Blessed Trinity. Contractor by day but enjoy volunteering as a House league Soccer Coach in the summer and being involved in other extracurricular activities such as the arts, etc. This would be my third year on the board and look forward to contributing on multiple levels.
- Jaclyn Toma: Hi! I’m a proud mom of two boys, one of whom currently attends Blessed Trinity. Over the past six years, I’ve been actively involved in Catholic School Councils at the elementary level, and I also serve on my local high school CSC. In addition, I’ve been a member of YCPIC for five years and am currently in the first year of my two-year term as Co-Chair. At Blessed Trinity, I run the hot lunch program and am working on a transition plan as my family will be graduating from the school in the coming years. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue supporting BT and contributing to our school community.
- Lauren Ruffolo: I’m excited to put my name forward for the Catholic School Council. I’m dedicated to creating a strong, supportive community for our students. I believe effective communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving are key to making our school environment thrive. Having worked closely with others in various group settings, I’m eager to help bring new ideas to the table, tackle challenges together, and ensure all voices are heard. My goal is to contribute to a positive and faith-centered atmosphere where everyone feels valued. Thank you for your consideration!

- Nakema Walker: Nakema Walker is the proud mother of 3 children…One child has graduated from Blessed Trinity CES French Immersion program class of 2020, and two whom are presently attending. Both children are students in the French Immersion program. Nakema is the business owner of Walker’s Rehabilitation Services – Mobility transportation, and Service Director for Bartimaeus Reha- bilitation Services. She has the responsibility for a team of rehabili- tation support workers for the Greater Toronto Area, Peel region, and Dufferin County. Nakema has over 15 years of extensive experience providing thera- py to individuals with diverse and complex psychiatric, behavioural, functional, psychosocial, addictions and physical needs as a result of a brain injury or other serious trauma. She brings a clients-first focus into the analysis and advocacy aspects of her work and into her role as a mem- ber of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Rehab Alliance (ORA). Since becoming an active member of the ORA Nakema is one of the founding members, and has been instrumental in es- tablishing the ORA Black Network. She is also a member of the Board’s Advocacy Committee (Government Relations) and plays a key role in the ORA’s network of non-regulated members (Rehab Therapist, Personal Support Workers) Nakema is also an active member of her community, including volunteering at her children’s school presenting for Black History Month. Nakema is an active member of the board of direc- tors for her children’s daycare. Nakema was awarded the Black Excellence community award 2022.

- Kimberly Saraceno: My name is Kimberly Saraceno. I am the mother of two children at BT and looking forward to being part of the Catholic School Counsel. I have been part of the BT community for the last 6 years of my children attending this school.
- Renata Musa: As a Blessed Trinity parent of a Grade 7 student, I am deeply committed to supporting our Catholic school community and its mission. I bring over 20 years of experience in higher education and health research, along with master’s degrees in Public Health and Science. My background in program and project management, and committee work has strengthened my organizational and collaborative skills. Guided by integrity, teamwork, and service, I would be honoured to contribute my skills and experience to the Blessed Trinity Catholic School Council.

- Vittoria Lamberti: I am the proud parent of two girls currently attending the school. I am eager to contribute to the school community by serving on the Parent School Council. I strongly believe that by parents and staff working together we can create the best possible environment for our children to learn, live & play.
